Had a work comp injury at the end of 2022 I went through work comp insurance paid physical therapy which didn't work. Went to see Orthopedic dr who diagnosed with a MRI as a Right shoulder rotator cuff tear, Bicep tendon tear and SLAP tear and recommended surgery. When I told my work comp claims adjuster about surgury, she sent my records to a Independent medical evaluation, which was a records review only. This insurance paid Dr stated that it was not work related and was degenerative arthritis... claim for surgery DENIED. I went through quite a few consultations with attorneys but my case was low dollar in their opinion. While searching the internet I can across an article about IME doctors are hired guns for the insurance company. After reading the article I looked up Luke Kingree on his website. I liked what I read, Luke is for the injured party and NOT the system. I called and gave my information to their staff, who set up a call with Luke himself. During the call, Luke explained how the process works, and at the end of the conversation I felt there was light at the tunnel. Fast forward, after building the case and completing MMI Luke was able to settle the case for wage loss and permanent disability before the court hearing with a fair outcome.
